The above is the lyrics to the song Stronger by Kelly Clarkson. I love every line of the lyrics - they are just so powerful & amazing that it sent chills down to my spine when I first heard it.

Love this lyrics / song so much that I am dedicating it to all the men who have made an appearance in my life and end up fucking it up. As much as I hate them, I owed them a lot for giving me the valuable experiences that makes me as strong as I am now - what doesnt kill me makes me a fighter.

Though Kelly Clarkson is the original singer to this song, I am putting the video from the Glee casts (which was performed during the Regionals in Season 3) since it was from Glee that I first heard the song.

Thanks to Ain for this song. If it's not becoz o her, I wouldnt know the existence of thing song. It is indeed a very nice song - soft & pleasant. Two reasons why I love this song : Firstly is becoz of the prominent sound of the guitar (since it's an acoustic version la kot ). I've always love the sound of a guitar.....it's like an anesthetic which would take me to another dimension of life. Havent heard the normal version of the song though since the acoustic has already gotten into me.

The second reason is of course the lyrics - short but very the touchy! Those who are close to me knows well whom would I dedicated this song to.

Crumbs

I dunno whether it's me who's getting older or it's the music industry that is reforming. Listening to the radio nowadays ( am referring to the English radio station here) can be quite stressful when the effect should be the reversed. There are too many shitty songs being played in the radio. Songs that dont deserved to be called a song. A person who is indecisive in committing suicide would straight away jump out from a building upon hearing these songs.

However, since last week I've been hearing this one song in Fly FM & sort of liking it especially that husky voice who sung it. It's a song you would wanna listen over and over again. Myself & Carol went high & low trying to find out who's the singer. After all attempts made were to no avail, Carol suggested me to call the radio station. So, yesterday I called up Prem from the Rush Hour Show & finally got the answer we've been looking for.

To our surprise, the song entitled Crumbs was performed by a local indie progressive rock band - Disagree. Crumbs is infact an old song from their first debut album, At The End Of The Day which was released way back in 2004. They recently released their latest album “To Prevent The Earth From Moving With You” on 30th June 2009.

Jom Donlod Lagu Raya

With the conjunction of the Holy month of Ramadhan and the coming of Syawal, I've decided to do some good deeds by providing the following links to those who's looking for raya songs. Mind you, the songs are in accordance to my taste lah yer.... nothing really fancy - mostly those old songs.

I know it's a bit too late now since raya is just around the corner but then what to do - I, myself just downloaded these songs yesterday. Anyway, raya songs are evergreen. Even if you download them after raya, you can always keep them for next year.

I do hope you'll enjoy these collections. I wished I could upload more songs but these are all I'm capable of at this point of time.

Yesterday in between doing my work at the office, I've downloaded all of my favourite raya songs which I would like to hear. Dengan susah payah akak mengdonlod lagu2 nih......di tengah2 kemelut bebanan kerja yang maha berat semenjak dua menjak ni. I actually have all the songs already last year but I just couldnt find that bloody CD in which i've burnt all the songs into......uurgghhhh. Abis semua tempat akak dah kelebek, hatta dalam peti ais sekali pun....manalah tau kot2 maid indon akak terkonpius between radio ngan peti ais kan?

This morning I've decided to listen to those raya songs rather than turning on Fly FM like I normally do. Upon hearing those songs I noticed that 80% of the raya songs are sad song,s in terms of melody & lyrics. Makes me wonder why is that so.....huhhhh??? If you listen to Christmas songs, they are all happy songs. Songs that put sunshine to your face. Songs that would makes you wanna at least tap your fingers to it.

In my opinion, raya songs should be the same way too. Hari Raya is a day of celebration and not the day to mourn. It's a day everybody is looking forward to after the 30 days of fasting. The only day when you can gather most if not all, of your family members together. the day where you can meet up your relatives and friends. In short, it's a happy day! So, why the heck we have so many sad songs for raya then?

Apparently, my favourite raya song is also a sad song....kuang kuang kuang. Cakap tak serupa bikin...hehehe. It's that song by Aishah called Pulanglah. Love this song so much! Bila dengar lagu ni sayu jer rasa....huhuhu.

Somebody gave me this song not too long ago.......and now I'm giving him back the same song. It's a wonderful song with such a poetic lyrics. Listening to it makes me my tears flow without me realizing it. Anyway, do enjoy the song as much as I did.

Rest In Peace MJ

Today, on the 7th July 2009, MJ's memorial service has been held at the Staple Center, Los Angeles. It was broadcast live around the globe...but being aired at 1 am in the morning, I just have to take a pass.

This morning, googling up the events in YouTube was the first thing I did as soon as I stepped into the office. That was when I started to cry after watching the speech made by his daughter, Paris Katherine Jackson. It was such a heart felt speech.....a speech that sent tears rushing down my cheek like crazy. Her father must have been so proud of her today.

Another scene which also caused tears running on my cheek is to watch Jermaine Jackson sang MJ's favourite song, Smile. He was singing while fighting back his tears....trying very hard to finish the song.....huhuhu.

This song Smile was written by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons and music by Charlie Chaplin. The lyrics are so beautiful......it makes you even sadder reading the lyrics after he (MJ) died....it was very beautifully written & suits him very well.

This song by Beyonce ( now known as Sasha Fierce ) has really gotten into my head these few days. The melody is not that great but the way she sang the song makes it sounds so nice. She sang it with lots n lots of emotions which makes the song so meaningful.
